Tow bar Kamiq

Sometimes even a practical and spacious crossover like the Škoda Kamiq can’t carry everything you need to move. When it comes to really large or unwieldy items, there’s nothing better than a trailer and a tow bar that lets you hitch it onto your car. You can choose a variety of them from Škoda Genuine Accessories. The non-removable, non-foldable tow bar is a good choice if you use it frequently and don’t want to keep mounting and removing it all the time.

We designed it specifically for the Kamiq, so you can be sure that everything fits perfectly and works as it should. The tow bar is made of high-quality materials and, like all Škoda Genuine Accessories, has been through rigorous testing, which confirmed its top-notch functionality and durability. Naturally, it also conforms to the E8*55R01/07*55867*00 homologation norm.

In case of a non-detachable tow bar, the tow hitch is fixed to the tow bar’s cross-beam with two bolts (can be dismounted if needed). When travelling abroad with a non-removable tow-bar without a trailer attached, it is always necessary to comply with the laws of the country in question. Retrofitting of the tow bar also increases the demands on the car’s cooling system. That’s why it is, depending on the car’s specification, necessary to replace parts of the cooling system, referring to the information that is available to the service technician at your Škoda Auto service partner.

– for vehicles not set up for a tow bar 657 055 202A + 657 055 204
For vehicles manufactured from CW 30/2020
– for vehicles set up for a tow bar 657 055 202C (contains control unit 5H0 907 383C)
– for vehicles not set up for a tow bar 657 055 202C + 657 055 204
For fitting, the following items must also be ordered from the Škoda Genuine
Components catalogue:
- for vehicles not equipped with a control unit for the shock absorbers, the following must be ordered separately 654 971 362 cover for securing the control unit.

Please note:
Before the tow bar is fitted, the reducing agent tank must be removed (SCR diesel engines, AKF petrol engines). This is located under the rear right wheel cover. Read less
