The front mud flaps protect the underbody from dirt as well as from stones flying off the wheels. The flaps are especially useful in winter, when aggressive salt from the road is largely deposited on the flaps and not on the bodywork.
The flaps are made of high quality plastic, whose dimensional stability is guaranteed over a wide temperature range from -50 °C to +50 °C. The material is also very resistant to a variety of chemical substances (salt, oil, fuel, etc.) and UV radiation. The simple attachment does not require any intervention within the bodywork, whose corrosion protection is therefore maintained.
