Each activation of the SmartLink function is relevant to a particular vehicle. The product needs to be activated in compliance with applicable regulations and correctly, using a diagnostics device provided by an authorised Škoda partner.

Once the packaging and trademark are damaged, the goods cannot be returned.

Only for Fabia IV, Scala, Octavia IV or Kamiq with PR number I8P or I8Q. To check the products compatibility with your car please contact our infoline with the cars VIN code first.

Your car can get smart, thanks to the SmartLink functionality, which is able to show your smartphone apps on radio or infotainment screen. This means you can use your navigation or streaming audio app without holding the mobile device in your hand. What’s more, you can use the local wireless network (WLAN) instead of the cable connection.

The SmartLink supports pairing smartphones or tablets via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or Mirror Link™ standards. The SmartLink functionality only supports applications approved by the manufacturer. You can easily check device compatibility at https://compatibilitylist.skoda-auto.com/.

SmartLink WLAN is not intended for cars with infotainment Amundsen and Columbus (PR number 8AR). This product is not available for cars produced from CW 40/2022 with MIB units: 654 035 871K; 654 035 869J; 654 035 869K; 5E3 035 871D a 5E3 035 869D. SmartLink cannot be fitted for models Scala, Kamiq and Fabia IV produced from CW 05/24 with PR numbers NI7 and NI8 and Octavia IV produced from CW 14/24 with PR numbers NI1 and NI9.
Usage
Each activation of the SmartLink function is relevant to a particular vehicle. The product needs to be activated in compliance with applicable regulations and correctly, using a diagnostics device provided by an authorised Škoda partner.
Warning
This product is only for cars with MIB3 with PR number 9WT. By activating this product in your car, you expand the possibility of use from the wired version of SmartLink to the wireless version. The activation is valid and active exclusively for one vehicle. If the vehicle is sold, the activation document shall be provided to the buyer. In the event of a repair done on the vehicle the activation will be restored. Connection with your mobile phone is possible through a USB interface or WLAN (wireless network).
