No driver can go without reversing, yet it is the manoeuvre that creates the most anxiety - and it’s often the cause of minor accidents and damage.
The solution is the reversing camera from Škoda Genuine Accessories. It gives you a clear view of the situation behind the car. Not only can you accurately judge your distance from obstacles, but you can also see what would otherwise be hidden from you.
The reversing camera is an extension to the rear parking sensors and allows the driver to watch the situation behind the car on the infotainment screen.
The camera is fitted with a washer. Cleaning the camera lens occurs when the rear windscreen washer is activated. The car has to be equipped with an infotainment system for the camera to be fitted.
Due to the difficulty of installation and subsequent activation of the parking camera, the installation needs to be completed by Škoda Auto authorized service partners. A detailed description of the parking camera operation and schematic of the viewed area can be found in the car’s Owner’s Manual.

The camera simultaneously displays the area behind the vehicle and guide lines corresponding to the width of the vehicle. The camera includes a parking assistant, which shows the required size of the parking space behind the car and then navigates for easy driving into this space.
