To make parking manoeuvres easier, especially when backing up, a signalisation of the distance from obstacle is very useful. Simple and effective solution is presented by acoustic parking assistant. This device protects your car from unnecessary dings and scratches that make it look worse and lower its value. A set of three acoustic sensors signals the size of the free space behind the car. Individual sensors are flush-mounted into the rear bumper. As they can be painted in your car’s colour, they don’t harm the looks of your vehicle in any way. This type of parking assistant doesn’t support showing information on radio display.

- Restrictions
- Only for left-hand drive ŠKODA Rapid (5JA) vehicles manufactured to CW 22/2015. Coupling a trailer to the vehicle will not deactivate the rear parking sensors (the parking sensors will beep, as they sense it just like any other obstacle).
- Usage
- In response to an obstacle appearing in a distance of 140 cm from the rear part of the vehicle, the system starts beeping - short beeps in one-second intervals. This interval gets gradually shorter as the vehicle approaches the obstacle. Once the vehicle approaches within a distance of 30 cm, the beeping turns into a continuous tone (STOP signal).
