The simple automatic mechanism for mounting and dismounting the towing arm does not require the use of tools, making it as easy as possible to comply with the legal obligation to remove the towing arm when no trailer is attached. When travelling abroad with a towbar without a trailer attached, the legal regulations of the country concerned must always be observed.
For a comfort solution of electric components (with 13-pin socket), it is necessary to order (only for vehicles from CW 13/2010): set for vehicles with preparation for tow bar 5J0 055 316.
