Set of stainless snow chains

The snow chains from the Škoda Genuine Accessories range increase vehicle traction when driving on snow and ice and contribute to safer starts and braking in winter conditions.

The chains are made of high-quality manganese-alloyed steel, which is characterized by high strength and wear resistance. The ladder-type design with square links ensures effective power transfer to the road surface and stable grip. The link construction improves traction and reduces wheel slip without excessive strain on the tyre.

The chains are installed on the permanently driven axle of the vehicle. After fitting, it is necessary to drive approximately 50 to 100 meters, check that they are properly seated, and retighten them if necessary. The maximum recommended speed when driving with chains fitted is 50 km/h. The chains have undergone demanding homologation tests focused on mechanical durability and vehicle compatibility, ensuring reliable performance in normal use.
