The rear parking camera installation kit from the Škoda Genuine Accessories range complements the safety function of the rear parking sensors, allowing the driver to actually monitor the situation behind the vehicle on the Infotainment display.
The reversing camera is fitted in the boot release handle and therefore keeps a very low profile. It is fitted with a cleaning system whereby the camera lens is automatically sprayed at the same time as the rear window.
To integrate the camera, the vehicle must have an infotainment system. Due to the complex nature of the work required, as well as the subsequent activation of the reversing camera, fitting must be carried out by an authorised Škoda service partner.

The set is designed only for the Octavia IV model with specific PR codes:
- Combi (K8D)
- Left-Hand Drive (L0L)
- without rear view camera (KA0)
- UN.ECE (NI1, NI7, NI8, NI9)
Rear view camera is not included it to the set and it necessary to order separately from Catalogue Spare according date of production:
- 5R3980568B - for vehicles manufactured from CW 14/2024 till 34/2024
- 5R3980568C - for vehicles manufactured from CW 35/2024 till 47/2024
- 5R3980568F - for vehicles manufactured from CW 48/2024 till 27/2025

Technical specifications:
The camera is automatically activated when the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear. The camera simultaneously displays the area behind the vehicle and guide lines corresponding to the width of the vehicle.
The camera features a parking assistant, which shows the driver a parking space of the required size behind the vehicle and then provides them with parking assistance.
This assistance is cancelled by the system if the steering wheel is not turned in the appropriate direction for a long period of time. The parking manoeuvre must be started again.
